Marco is back again to teach in Brussels for two weeks together with his partner Ximena. Due to his popularity among Ashtanga practitioners, he comes back regularly every year to Brussels.
This time he comes with his partner Ximena and together they prepared for you daily Mysore morning & evening classes and four special week-end workshops.

Experience how the physical and the energetic body interact in your practice through the use of conscious movement, asana, breathing exercises, meditation, core stability and subtle body awareness.
Our aim is the mindful creation of new physical and emotional space, the increase of the range of movement of the articulations, the liberation of the breathing pattern, and the balance and integration of the opposites: opening and containment, strength and softness, engagement and active relaxation, courage and vulnerability.
Each workshop is open to all level of practitioner and can be enjoyed individually or as part of the whole set.

Marco Aicardi first discovered meditation and Yoga 12 years ago, while backpacking around India.
After an initial time playing around with different styles, he met the Ashtanga Vinyasa system and he immediately felt a deep connection with that practice, making it his own sadhana.
In 2013 he completed a 500 hours teacher training in Rishikesh and since then he strives to make all aspects of Yoga his full time occupation.
Currently he spends the winter’s months in India practicing and studying (in Mysore and Rishikesh among other places) and teaching in Gokarna (coastal Karnataka), while in summer he organizes retreats and teaches in various places across Europe.
Gentle and precise adjustments, flexible and personalized approach to the sequence and a patient and compassionate outlook are the defining traits of his teaching style.
Ximena Tavares Saavedra is a dancer, choreographer and yoga teacher.
She started practicing Yoga 15 years go and since her very first class she could recognize it as an healthy and enjoyable instrument to work with herself while exploring the possibilities of body and mind.
As a teacher she is inspired by the sense of freedom that dance brings, the anatomic tools of the somatic technics and the ancient wisdom of the Ashtanga Vinyasa system to provide her students with a judgment-free space to explore themselves through their Yoga practice.
Intuitive and sensitive to the needs of others, she leads a practice where to embody oneself with love, compassion and acceptance.
She travels yearly to India to deepen her practice and acquire new teaching skills.
Ximena and Marco met in India and are now a couple in life, in the practice of Yoga and in the teaching path.
